These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Velohost tools, services, plugins, APIs, and related infrastructure.

1. Operator and applicability

Velohost services are operated by Velohost UK Limited, incorporated in England (company number 16987207). Registered office address: Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, England, M2 3WQ.

These Terms apply to all access to Velohost websites, tools, plugins, APIs, automation endpoints, documentation, and related services.

2. Nature of the services

Velohost provides automated tools that analyse, interpret, and present publicly observable internet infrastructure, protocol behaviour, and configuration data.

Services may include (but are not limited to):

  • DNS and network diagnostics
  • SSL/TLS and certificate inspection
  • Email authentication analysis
  • Configuration validation
  • Automation and API endpoints
  • Developer plugins and integrations

Velohost does not access private systems, authenticate into third-party platforms, modify configurations, or perform intrusive or exploitative scanning.

3. Permitted use

You may use Velohost services for personal, commercial, educational, research, monitoring, automation, integration, and AI-assisted workflows.

Automated, scripted, and programmatic access is permitted unless explicitly restricted on a specific service page.

Sustained high-volume usage beyond published limits may require coordination with Velohost to ensure platform stability.

4. Prohibited use

You must not use Velohost services in any way that:

  • Attempts to bypass rate limits or safeguards
  • Interferes with platform stability or availability
  • Misrepresents outputs as certifications or guarantees
  • Uses results for deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

5. Rate limiting and availability

Free and open services may be subject to rate limiting, usage thresholds, or temporary restrictions to ensure fair access and system reliability.

Velohost does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend, or withdraw services at any time.

6. Data handling and privacy

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Velohost does not retain queried domains, analysis results, or historical usage records.

Processing occurs in real time and data is discarded immediately after completion.

7. Intellectual property

Velohost retains all rights in the platform, branding, interface design, documentation, and proprietary tooling.

Open-source plugins and libraries are licensed separately under their respective licences.

8. No warranties and reliance

Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Outputs are informational only and must not be relied upon as professional, legal, compliance, security, or operational advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velohost UK Limited shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, or decision arising from use of the services.

This includes indirect, consequential, reputational, operational, or business losses.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect legal, operational, or service changes.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
